The £1bn Whiteley development celebrates topping out. One of London’s biggest construction projects reaches the highest point of its main structure. The Whiteley had its topping-out ceremony on the 30th of November after the milestone of hitting the highest point of its main structure was reached.

The former shopping centre in Bayswater is being redeveloped to feature luxury apartments, retail and a Six Senses hotel by joint venture partners MARK and C C Land and development manager Finchatton. The new development has been designed by Foster+Partners with Laing O’Rourke as the main contractor and ORSA is providing the Principal Designer and Client’s Advisor role.
